Patient / I' ve had several nosebleeds recently.

Doctor / When do you get these nosebleeds?

患者 / 最近よく鼻血が出ます。

医師 / どんな時に出ますか？

Patient / Whenever I blow my nose.

Doctor / Have you ever had this problem before?

患者 / 鼻をかんだ時です。

医師 / 以前にもこのようなことがありましたか？

Patient / No, never. That's why I came here today, because I'm anxious about it.

Doctor / I understand. By the way, do you have your period regularly?

患者 / いいえ、全然。だから心配で来たんです。

医師 / 分かりました。ところで、月経は順調ですか？

知っておきたい豆知識

・「By the way, 」は会話の途中で話の内容を転換する場合に用います。唐突さを避けるためです。
・「your period」は、あからさまに月経（menstruation）と言うことがはばかられる時に、よく用いられる婉曲表現の一種です。
