Patient / I shiver, and I feel very chilly.

Doctor / Do you have a fever?

患者 / ぞくぞくして、寒気がひどいのです。

医師 / 熱はありますか？

Patient / My temperature is thirty-eight point five degrees.

Doctor / Do you have other symptoms?

患者 / 38.5℃です。

医師 / 他の症状はいかがですか？

Patient / I have a sore throat, and my nose is stopped up.

Doctor / I think you caught a cold. Please take this medicine to prevent secondary infection.

患者 / 喉が痛くて、鼻づまりもあります。

医師 / かぜだと思いますが、二次感染を防ぐためにこの薬を飲んでください。

知っておきたい豆知識

・「かぜ」と言うと出てくる言葉に、headache「頭痛」、runny nose「鼻水」、sneezing「くしゃみ」、cough「咳」、phlegm「痰」等もあります。clinical thermometer「体温計」も覚えておくと便利でしょう。
