Patient / My face has been a little puffy.

Doctor / Have you been tired recently or not getting enough sleep?

患者 / 顔が腫れぼったいのです。

医師 / 過労や寝不足はありませんか。

Patient / No, I don't think so.

Doctor / Are your legs swollen too?

患者 / いいえ。

医師 / 足もむくんでいませんか。

Patient / My shins are swollen, and if I press them with my fingertips, the marks last a while.

Doctor / Let's do a urinalysis and some blood tests to check your kidneys.

患者 / 向こうずねも張っていて、指で押すと凹みが残ります。

医師 / 腎臓の具合をみるために尿と血液の検査をしましょう。

知っておきたい豆知識

・「むくみ」を表す言葉に、swelling（腫れる）、edema（浮腫）などもあります。
・「尿を調べる」という行為を表す言葉として、urine collection（採尿）、urinalysis（検尿）urine tests、urine examination（尿の検査）、もありますので、使い分けることが必要です。
